The principle of our law firm is that each case begins with a meeting with the client. On the basis of the client’s testimony and the documents provided by the client, we make a preliminary analysis of the case, develop an initial legal position, and outline a plan of action (with possible variants) aimed at solving the problem in the most beneficial way for the client. Such a meeting combined with a case analysis falls into the basic category of our services, which is legal advice. This basic legal advice is provided against payment, and the fee for a single, one-hour consultation is \u00a0<\/span>PLN 500<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Online advice. In our opinion, the most effective and productive form of meeting with the client is a personal meeting in the office. We prefer this form, as we believe that it allows us to get to know each other better, which in turn helps build the trust necessary on both sides when conducting a case. However, more and more often the issue of distance or lack of time is a reason why clients are interested in meeting our attorneys online. To meet the expectations of our clients, we offer online legal advice, which in some situations may indeed be a viable alternative to traditional legal services. This is certainly an attractive form for people living abroad, or in Poland, but far away from Pozna\u0144.<\/p>\n

The cost of further services related to case management, analysis of documents and case files, drafting of pleadings, etc. depends on the category and complexity of the case referred to us by the client, and is determined by mutual agreement.<\/p>\n

In the case of litigation, the fees for court hearings (or actions before other procedural bodies such as the police or the prosecution) are also agreed upon. As the duration of the trial is difficult to predict (it may last 30 minutes or more than 5 hours), the amount of this remuneration is a function of the complexity of the case and the duration of the trial.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, when the amount of workload is difficult to estimate and depends on unpredictable factors (e.g. the reaction of the other party and its defence) we propose remuneration based on an hourly rate. It is a solution used more often with business partners, but there are situations when we propose such a solution also for individuals. It is also possible to agree on an hourly settlement with a maximum ceiling of remuneration, the so-called cap fee.<\/p>\n

Our law firm does not generally base its remuneration on a percentage of the amount obtained from the opponent, except some types of compensation cases, as well as situations in which the percentage fee is an additional success fee agreed to by the client (the so-called success fee).<\/p>\n

If an advocate performs work outside the office, or needs to travel outside Pozna\u0144, the remuneration is increased by the reimbursement of travel costs, time spent on travel, possibly the cost of accommodation. This fee is set after an agreement with the client.<\/p>\n

Regarding the fees for conducting court cases, in order to illustrate the range of this fee we provide a link to the regulation of the Minister of Justice of 22 October 2015 regarding minimum fees for advocacy<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. This ordinance regulates attorney’s fees for handling individual court cases, based on which courts estimate attorney’s fees that the opponent needs to pay (if the case is won). In the case of court cases involving a monetary claim, the fee depends on the value of the object of the dispute. At the same time, it should be noted here that the regulation defines the minimum rates and should be treated as a rough point of reference. The final amount of remuneration is always a result of the agreement between our law firm and the client<\/p>\n
